UFC 104 Tickets. Los Angeles Staples Center

2005 Pride FC Middleweight Grand Prix winner, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua has signed the contract and sent it along to the people at UFC, stating he will indeed fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida at UFC 104! UFC 104 tickets, for the much-awaited fight night in LA, are predicted to sell like crazy, as Californians welcome the event to the Golden State.
Rua fought former champion Chuck Liddell at UFC 97 last month, and was technically knocked out. Many are saying that Rua is shaken by the "robbery" of a decision, but others claim it won't phase him in the least. Rua beat Mark Coleman in a third round (technical) KO at UFC 93: "Franklin vs. Henderson", and it was this that opened the door to his failed attempt to batter "Iceman" Liddell. UFC President Dana White had already announced that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson would face Machida at UFC 104, but Jackson had a change of mind and decided to pursue his long-running duel with Rashad Evans at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 10 instead. It was Evans who Machida beat comprehensively at UFC 98 to win his belt, prompting the question: Is Jackson taking the easy way out by going after Evans when he could have fought the guy who beat Evans and kill two birds with one stone? Jackson's sudden departure opened yet another door of opportunity for Rua, as he is now in the frame to fight Machida, a mouth-watering match-up if ever there was one. UFC 104 tickets will be selling fast, and everyone wants to see what will happen if these two go head to head. President Dana White has not yet announced anything official (as of August 26, 2009), but it is widely believed that the fight will go ahead. Machida is said to be still celebrating his victory over Evans, in some exotic locale, so his signature remains MIA on the MMA schedule for UFC 104 as yet. Check this site soon, though, and we'll have all the latest UFC news.
