MMA tickets for UFC 115 in Vancouver on June 12 are a rare thing indeed. UFC 115 sold out - that's the word, on the street and on the tweet, too. UFC Prez Dana White has tweeted to the world through his Twitter account that pre-sale tickets for UFC 115 Vancouver have completely sold out in less than a half hour. This is amazing, as Canadians begin to really eat up the Ultimate Fighting concept and outbuy even America's appetite for the ferocity of the octagon. MMA tickets are big news north of the border, and mixed martial arts fans from the U.S. will undoubtedly be making their way up north to see this action-packed Ultimate Fightfest. Vancouver's GM Place is where UFC 115 will happen, and scalpers are rumored to be asking $400 for $75 tickets on Craigslist. There are still some tickets left at better prices than that; check out these MMA tickets to UFC 115 and find some great deals on last-gasp chances to see the most exciting event in combat sports. UFC 115: Franklin v. Liddell is the first Canadian UFC pay-per-view fight card outside Montreal, up to now the king of all UFC tickets selling cities in NOrth America. The two previous UFC events held in the Quebec city have proved immense and May 8, 2010 will see even more action there, when Lyoto Machida fights Mauricia Rua for the light heavyweight strap.
But back to Vancouver: ex-champs Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Rich "Ace" Franklin compose the top fight on the UFC card in Vancouver and everyone is looking forward to that one. The British Columbian tickets stampede signals a new era in Mixed Martial Arts, and Vancouver selling out so rapidly creates a "who is the biggest UFC fans?" effect across the biggest nation in the Americas. Now that Vancouver has beaten Montreal's UFC 83 as the fastest selling UFC event ever, Dana White must be loving the Great White North. Here is the rest of the UFC 115 Fight Card:
