UFC 132 Fight Card is Out!

Submitted by admin on Wed, 2011-05-04 18:13.

UFC 132 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in fabulous Las Vegas, on July 2. People are already looking for UFC 132: Cruz vs. Faber tickets as excitement mounts. The UFC 132 fight card is out and it contains several notable bouts between MMA fighters that are serious about where they're going in the sport. Cruz vs. Faber is the headliner, but the main bout of this MMA punchup is only one part of it. Expect to see other awesome martial arts clashes, featuring Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, boxing and all the rest.

Unfortunately, the event has seen two of the initially scheduled fighters pulled out because of injury. Jon Fitch had to bow out of his rematch with B.J. Penn and, interestingly, Penn became injured as well. In another bout between Lightweights George Sotiropoulos and Evan Dunham, another injury has struck there. Dunham is now ruled out of what would have been a tremendous fight. These MMA events are always hit and miss affairs (no pun intended), but you can bet if anyone needs replacing they will be by a tough guy of equal measure.

On the bright side, there are are ton of rabid crazy beast men chomping at the bit for this one, like a Light Heavyweight bout between Tito Ortiz vs. Ryan Bader, and Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben. Silva, the Brazilian, who is known as "The Axe Murderer", has enjoyed triumphs in several weight divisions, including Middleweight, Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight, showing some great versatility and ability at different weights. Silva's vicious combo of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will not phase southpaw Leben, known as The Crippler. American Middleweight Leben has seen some serious action and lived to tell the tale, despite his deceptively "jokey" demeanor. Leben is noted for an ability to give as well as take, and his inter-disciplinary style is very difficult to contain. Outside the octagon he became notorious for his drunken exploits in the TV series "The Ultimate Fighter 1", a performance that made a few enemies and which was ultimately resolved in the octagon.
